is jaggery increase weight - #25271
I am super confused about something and really hope someone can help! I’ve lately been trying to eat healthier and was told jaggery is a good alternative to sugar. My aunt swears by it and says it has health benefits, but I've been kinda skeptical. I mean, I've started using jaggery in my tea instead of sugar, and I'm not sure if that is jaggery increase weight! I've read a bit online that jaggery is still a type of sugar and could, in theory, lead to weight gain if consumed in excess. But, then again, people say it's more natural and somehow better for you. I’ve been tracking my weight and honestly, it seems to be creeping up, but I'm also not exercising as much as I should. Could it be that drastically switching to jaggery is jaggery increase weight for me? Or should I be looking somewhere else? Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this or had similar experiences. I really want to lose a few pounds but don’t wanna give up on jaggery if its actually healthier. Anyone have some thoughts on this? I feel like im stuck not really knowing what to believe!
