how to treat bronchitis - #25477

Aditya

I am really struggling here guys. For the last week, I’ve been coughing non-stop and my chest feels tight. I was just at urgent care yesterday, and they told me it’s probably bronchitis, but didn’t give me much info on how to treat bronchitis. They just recommended some over-the-counter meds. I’ve been using a humidifier and drinking tons of fluids, but the cough is still super intense—and I’m worried it might turn into something worse. I’m also experiencing some wheezing and occasionally I feel a bit short of breath, which I definitely didn’t have before. I tried asking the doctor about how to treat bronchitis specifically, like if there are any good home remedies or maybe even herbal options, but they didn’t seem to have time for that. And I’m just not sure how long this will last. I mean, should I just let it run its course or is there something more I can do to speed up recovery? Anyone here have ideas on how to treat bronchitis that worked for you? I don’t want to be dealing with this for weeks, honestly. Any advice would really help!!
