Can somebody tell whats that wierd thing in my nose ple - #29249
I am really stressing about something I found kinda weird. I’ve had this annoying feeling in my nose for like a week now. At first, I thought it was just a regular cold, but nope! I’ve been blowing my nose, and then suddenly I feel this like, weird thing that seems to be stuck inside. I looked in the mirror and could kinda see something but I wasn’t sure what it was! Like, can somebody tell whats that wierd thing in my nose ple? I mean, it’s not bleeding or hurting, but it’s just there and driving me insane. My sense of smell is kinda off too, which makes me think this is a bigger issue than just a little irritation. Someone suggested it might be a polyp or maybe a foreign object, but could it be something simple? Or am I being paranoid? I keep trying to poke at it with tissues, but that’s not helping. Should I just go see a doc or wait it out? I can’t imagine how many people have dealt with weird things in their noses before, and I gotta know!

It seems like you’re experiencing a persistent nasal issue that’s bothering you quite a bit. From what you’re describing—a feeling of something being stuck, changes in your sense of smell, and a visual sign of something unusual in your nose—it might indeed be nasal polyps or perhaps an impaction issue like a foreign object, although the latter is less common in adults unless there’s been an accidental insertion. Nasal polyps are non-cancerous growths in the nasal passages or sinuses due to chronic inflammation and can lead to decreased smell and a feeling of congestion or blockage. They’re usually soft, so they might not hurt but can be annoying and cause breathing difficulty. Trying to poke at it, while understandable, probably won’t resolve the situation and could increase irritation or risk infection if you’re not careful. Given that this has been bothering you for about a week with no improvement, I’d recommend seeing a healthcare provider for a proper examination. They can use a nasal speculum or an endoscope, if needed, to get a good look at what’s going on and suggest the appropriate treatment. This could range from topical or oral corticosteroids to reduce any inflammation if it’s polyps, to manually removing anything else blocking your nasal passage. Waiting it out might delay relief, especially if it’s something that might continue to obstruct your breathing or sensory experience. Prioritize booking an appointment soon to put your mind at ease and to avoid any potential complications. This approach ensures you’re on the right track and prevents small issues from becoming larger ones.
