Aapke symptoms sabse zyada anterior blepharitis (eyelid dandruff) ya seborrheic dermatitis se judi eyelid inflammation ki taraf sanket karte hain. Is condition mein eyelashes ke base par safed flakes, crusting ya dandruff jaisa material jama hota rehta hai aur safai karne ke baad bhi dobara aa sakta hai.
Aapke case mein: • Samasya 2–3 saalon se hai • Eyelashes aur eyelid margins par safed parat banti hai • Kabhi-kabhi khujli hoti hai • Aankhon mein halka dryness bhi hai
yeh blepharitis ke saath kaafi milta-julta lagta hai.
Kya karein: • Din mein 1–2 baar garam paani ki sek (warm compress) 5–10 minute karein • Uske baad eyelid margins ko gently clean karein (baby shampoo diluted in water ya eyelid cleansing wipes se) • Aankhon ko ragadne se bachein • Screen time ke dauran regular breaks lein • Artificial tear drops dryness mein madad kar sakte hain
Kyuki yeh samasya kai saalon se chal rahi hai, ek Eye Specialist (Ophthalmologist) se examination karwana uchit rahega. Kuch cases mein antibiotic ointment ya specific eyelid treatment ki zarurat pad sakti hai.
Turant doctor ko dikhayein agar: • Aankh laal ho jaye • Vision blur hone lage • Eye pain ho • Pus-like discharge aaye • Eyelid par sujan ya painful lump ban jaye
Prescription: 1. Warm compress over closed eyelids for 5–10 minutes twice daily 2. Gentle eyelid hygiene/cleaning daily 3. Preservative-free lubricating eye drops if dryness is present 4. Avoid rubbing or scratching the eyes 5. Ophthalmologist consultation advised for confirmation of chronic blepharitis and further treatment

Hello
The most likely cause is blepharitis, a common condition in which inflammation of the eyelid margins causes white flakes, crusting, and debris around the eyelashes. It can be associated with dandruff of the scalp or eyebrows, oily skin, dry eyes, or overgrowth of normal skin bacteria. The fact that the flakes return soon after cleaning and have been present for 2–3 years strongly suggests a chronic eyelid condition rather than poor hygiene.
Treatment usually involves regular eyelid hygiene: applying a warm compress to closed eyelids for 5–10 minutes once or twice daily, followed by gentle cleaning of the eyelid margins with diluted baby shampoo or commercially available eyelid cleansing wipes. Artificial tear drops may help if dryness is present. If symptoms persist, an eye specialist may prescribe antibiotic or anti-inflammatory eye ointments/drops depending on the type of blepharitis.
Avoid rubbing the eyes, as this can worsen irritation. An examination by an ophthalmologist is recommended to confirm the diagnosis and rule out other causes such as allergic eyelid inflammation, seborrheic dermatitis, or Demodex mite infestation. Since your symptoms are mild but long-standing, consistent eyelid hygiene is often the most important part of treatment.
