Tab. Fluconazole 150 mg single dose after food.
Clotrimazole 2% vaginal cream apply inside vagina at night × 7 days.
Your infection is most likely fungal (yeast), triggered by hormonal disturbance after taking Unwanted-72. It can be treated with one oral tablet (fluconazole) + local cream.

Hello Abha,
🛑It is most likely a yeast infection, which is common in women, especially after: Taking emergency contraceptive pills like Unwanted 72 Hormonal changes Stress or change in vaginal pH
🛑Avoid frequent washing Avoid sex until infection clears Do not use soaps, intimate washes, or antiseptics
🛑Clotrimazole 2% cream for 7 days.(Apply inside vaginal area) Tab.Diflucan 150 mg- 1 tablet at night on day 1, On Day 3 another one tablet.
If persists, consult a gynaecologist.
Feel free to ask Thank you
Hello Your symptoms suggest vaginal infection.
Take these precautions and treatment: 1. Maintain local hygiene 2. Avoid intercourse for 5 days 3. Drink 1.5-2 lit./day 4. Tab Secnidazole 2gm once only 5. Tablet Fluconazole 150mg once only
If no relief seen, then visit gynaecologist for proper examination and management. Take care
One can take Fluconazole 150 mg orally single dose
If discharge is persistent, foul-smelling, blood-stained, or associated with pelvic pain, you must see a gynecologist — sometimes it can be an STI needing partner treatment. • Do not use multiple medicines at once unless diagnosis is confirmed.
Emergency contraceptive pills like Unwanted 72 can sometimes disturb the vaginal flora and lead to infection or yeast overgrowth, causing itching and white discharge. Frequent washing may worsen the irritation by disrupting the natural balance further. It’s best to consult a gynecologist for examination and treatment (usually antifungal or antibiotic medication as needed) instead of self-washing repeatedly.

It looks like you might be dealing with a vaginal yeast infection, which can occur from changes in your body’s balance often influenced by hormone fluctuations or medication like emergency contraception. The symptoms you’re describing—itching and white discharge—are typical for a yeast infection, although other types of vaginitis could present similarly. To address this, you first might want to try an over-the-counter antifungal treatment, typically available as a cream or suppository, which are quite effective and usually used for several days. Make sure to follow the instructions for use. However, the symptoms you are experiencing could also indicate bacterial vaginosis or a sexually transmitted infection (STI), especially if you notice a strong odor or if it’s painful during urination. Given that these have different treatments, it’s crucial to ensure you’re treating the right condition. If the over-the-counter treatment doesn’t alleviate symptoms within a few days, or if they worsen, it’s important to see a healthcare provider. They can perform a simple exam and tests to determine the exact cause and prescribe the right medication. Meanwhile, try to avoid any scented products or douches that might further irritate your vaginal area. Wearing cotton underwear and loose-fitting clothes helps keep the area dry and reduce irritation. If you have any fever, pelvic pain, or the discharge appears green or bloody, seek medical care promptly as these could indicate a more serious infection needing immediate attention.
