I am feeling really concerned about my liver health lately. About a month ago, I went for a routine check-up, and my doctor mentioned that my liver function tests were slightly off. He didn’t make a big deal out of it but said I should think about how to maintain liver function moving forward. That got me thinking—what does it really mean to maintain liver function? I’ve been trying to eat better, cutting down on the junk food and alcohol, but I honestly don’t know if that’s enough. Some friends say exercise is key, but how much is necessary to effectively maintain liver function? I’m also curious if there are specific supplements or foods that could help. I’ve read mixed things about certain herbal remedies too, but I’m not sure how safe those are for liver function.
