Hello Simran,
Your stomach ache and 3 loose stools today are most likely due to a mild stomach upset or food-related issue, not pregnancy.
Since you restarted Ovarl L on 27th November soon after your withdrawal bleed, the chance of pregnancy is extremely LOW unless you missed pills.
These symptoms are common with digestive issues and sometimes when restarting the pill.
👍Stay hydrated and eat light.
Seek help only if pain, fever, or loose motions continue for more than 1–2 days.
Hopefully you will recover soon Thank you
The pain is in lower abdomen and stomach
Hello doctor there is a sudden heaviness in the stomach and I am concerned
More likely gastric trouble. Sit upright or walk slowly for 10–15 minutes Avoid lying down immediately Sip warm water Avoid spicy, oily, or heavy food for now
Now there is no pain and today there was no passing of stool it’s just a slight pain in the leg
The pain is I the centre of stomach above naval and sometimes between the legs
Along with this I am feeling bloated and mild headache
Hello doctor I am having stomach ache from last night and I am worried
Hello dear See as per clinical history you have already taken ocd medication so chances of pregnancy are very less I think the current pain is due to normal hormonal alterations only. It seems either diarrhoea or dysentery Pleass get below tests done for confirmation Culture stool if recommended by gastroenterologist PCR Please share the result with general physician medicine for better clarity. Please donot take any medication without consulting the concerned person Regards
You do not need a pregnancy test unless:
You missed pills
You had unprotected sex during missed pills
Your withdrawal bleed does not come at the end of the pack
Right now, there is no indication of pregnancy.
I am having stomach pain from last night and it increased in the day today and my ovar l pack got finished on 16th December. I am worried doctoe please guide
I am taking mental spas as well as a pain killer so should I wait
Is this pain related to pregnancy since I have been taking ovarl l from the last 2 months and I had withdrawal bleeding in every month and as per that my periods are due on 22nd December
So this pain is not related to pregnancy and it’s just that I can do test for my surity
Hello Simran
Here’s what’s likely happening: - Stomach ache and increased bowel movements can be due to many reasons—mild stomach infection, something you ate, stress, or even hormonal changes from restarting the pill. Birth control pills themselves don’t usually cause sudden stomach pain or diarrhea, but some people do experience mild digestive changes when starting or restarting them. - Chance of pregnancy:If you restarted Ovarl L as per your doctor’s instructions and have been taking it regularly, the chance of pregnancy is very low. However, if you missed pills or had unprotected sex before restarting, there’s a small chance, but your recent withdrawal bleed and restarting the pill make pregnancy less likely.
Rx- Rifaximin 400 mg once a day Cap Pantop dsr - once empty stomach Drink plenty of water
Thank you
Stomach aches and changes in bowel movements can, indeed be concerning, but they’re not solely indicative of pregnancy, particularly if you’ve been consistently taking a contraceptive pill like Ovarl L. It’s important to understand that gastrointestinal symptoms could stem from various factors. Common causes might include dietary changes, stress, a viral gastrointestinal infection, or even just mild irritation due to medications or supplements. With Ovarl L, typical side effects can include abdominal discomfort or changes in bowel habits; however, they usually resolve on their own. Given your recent withdrawal bleed and resumption of the pill, the likelihood of pregnancy is pretty low if you’ve been taking your pills correctly and consistently. That said, if you’ve missed any pills or experienced vomiting or severe diarrhea shortly after taking a pill, it could potentially affect efficacy, albeit the risk remains minimal. When symptoms are sudden and unusual, it’s always a good idea to monitor them closely. If your abdominal pain persists, worsens, or is associated with other symptoms like fever, vomiting, or blood in stools, it could indicate something more serious that warrants medical attention. As for the chance of pregnancy, if you’re still concerned, you could consider taking a pregnancy test for reassurance. It’s a good practice to reflect on your recent dietary intake or stress levels, as these commonly trigger stomach issues. However, should symptoms linger or interfere significantly with your daily life, reaching out to your healthcare provider can ensure the issue is properly addressed.
Hey Simran Since You have taken the pills the chances of pregnancy are much much less. No need for the worries dear. It may be due to some digestive problems. If further need take consult a general medicine Specialist
