Hello dear See blue pills are active hormonal pills and white pills are placebo or inactivated iron pills As per clinical history You have taken overdose of blue pills There are usually not very severe side effects You can take following precautions Skip the blue pills for two 2-3 days After that Continue taking single pill ( blue ) only after that Continue white pills regularly Observe for Nausea Vomiting Diarrhea Weakening Haermmorhage Also consult if any tests are required Do have interaction with gynaecologist in person for better clarity Regards

Accidentally taking the blue pill instead of the white one in your Lo Loestrin Fe pack isn’t uncommon, and it can be managed with a few steps. The white pills in your pack usually contain a different dosage or are inert (placebo), intended for the end of your cycle, so switching the sequence can affect hormone levels. Since you’ve taken active pills consecutively, the primary thing to realize is that you’ve increased your hormonal intake during those days. Though a bit of a hassle, this is unlikely to cause any serious issues. Here’s what you should do: continue taking the remainder of your pack without taking any additional blue or active pills to compensate. Just pick back up with where you’re supposed to be in the sequence. If you’re unsure, you can consult the pack’s leaflet or consult your pharmacist to confirm the order. In terms of contraceptive protection, you should still be covered. But if you have continuous spotting, feel lightheaded, or experience prolonged discomfort, these might just be your body’s response to the hormonal shift — nothing to panic about, though contact a medical professional if symptoms persist significantly. To mitigate errors going forward, consider setting a daily reminder or keeping track on a calendar. Attention to routine is key in both consistency and effectiveness, especially with contraceptive regimens. Should there be notable disruptions in your cycle or discomfort, play safe and give your healthcare provider a quick call to discuss any specific concerns.
