can masturbation cause weakness - #24264

Fatima

I am really confused and need some help! For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been feeling really weak and lethargic, like just no energy at all. And I started wondering if can masturbation cause weakness because I read some stuff online that made me really worried. It started after a particularly stressful week at work, you know? I was super busy and just used it to cope a bit, and then I felt a bit more tired than usual. But then things kinda spiraled. I wonder if too much of it could have any effects on my overall stamina? Like maybe I shouldn’t have been so impulsive? It's not like I’m doing it all day or anything, but I noticed my other activities feel harder to get through now. Also, I noticed sometimes I feel shaky and it's kinda scary cause I usually workout pretty regularly. I mean, could this be all related, or am I just overthinking it? Can masturbation cause weakness in a not-so-obvious way, like affecting my energy levels or something? I’m kind of in a panic because I’ve got stuff to do and don't want this to become a bigger issue. Thanks for reading!

Masturbation itself, when done in moderation, generally doesn’t cause long-term physical weakness or lethargy. However, it’s important to consider the overall context of your lifestyle and stress levels. Feeling weak or low energy might have more to do with other factors like stress, overwork, or lack of sleep. Those could definitely impact your stamina and energy levels more significantly than masturbation. You mentioned that this started happening during a particularly stressful week, so it might be worth reflecting on how stress is affecting you. Anxiety and inadequate rest can also contribute to feelings of shakiness. In addition, if masturbation is causing you to miss out on sleep or other important activities, or if you feel compelled to do it to the detriment of other aspects of your life, that might indirectly lead to feeling tired or rundown. It’s essential to maintain a balance and ensure you’re getting enough sleep, eating well, and managing stress effectively. Think about whether your recent workload or lack of rest is taking a toll. Regular physical activity is beneficial, but overtraining without proper recovery might also contribute to fatigue and feeling shaky. If adjusting these areas doesn’t lead to improvement, or if the weakness persists, consult a healthcare provider to rule out other potential causes. There might be an underlying issue like anemia or thyroid dysfunction that needs addressing. It’s important not to jump to conclusions—focus on a balanced lifestyle, and seek medical attention if needed.
