how to reduce darkness of lips - #24466

Parth

I am kinda worried about my lips lately. They seem to be gettin’ darker and I don’t even know why. I never used to think about my lips much, but now it's like all I notice when I look in the mirror. I’ve tried a few remedies, like scrubbing them with sugar and coconut oil but honestly, notta difference! I also read that sun exposure could be a factor for how to reduce darkness of lips, like do I need to put sunscreen on them too? I mean, who knew lips could get sunburned, right? Just a couple of days ago, I had a dinner party and when someone commented on my 'dark' lips, I felt super conscious. Then I tried wearing lipstick to hide it, but that honestly made me feel worse, like masking a problem instead of dealing with it. My best friend suggested I should just accept it, but I guess I want to know how to reduce darkness of lips for real. Is there like a cream or even a natural option that actually works? I can’t seem to find reliable advice online so I thought I’d ask you all. Anyone else dealt with this? How do you layer your remedies or treatments? Ugh, I just want my lips to be a nice soft pink again.
