why to use hair serum - #24603
I am really curious about why to use hair serum. Lately, my hair's been looking super dull and frizzy, especially after all this crazy weather. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to give it a go with a serum my friend recommended, but honestly, I'm not seeing much difference? She swears by it and says it helps with shine and smoothness, but I'm starting to wonder if I’m using it wrong or if it’s just not meant for my hair type? Like, do I apply it on wet or dry hair, and how much should I really be putting on? I tend to overdo it with products sometimes, thinking more is better! Also, what's the deal with ingredients? I read some serums have silicones and preservatives that can build up— is that true? I just want to know, why to use hair serum at all if it's gonna weigh my hair down? I want shiny, healthy, manageable hair, but I don’t wanna make it worse by using products that aren’t good for me. Is there a specific type of hair serum that’s ideal for frizzy hair or should I focus more on moisturizing masks instead? I feel like I need some solid advice before I keep wasting my time and money on it!
