What causes persistent body odor in men despite daily bathing and hygiene? - #29640
I am a male experiencing a persistent strong body odor problem for the past few weeks. The smell is present in my underarms, scrotum, and also under the foreskin of the penis. The main issue is that the odor returns immediately even after bathing and maintaining proper hygiene. I bathe daily, dry the areas properly, and wear clean cotton underwear, but the smell still persists. There is no severe pain, but occasionally there may be mild discomfort. I have not noticed major redness, swelling, or discharge, but there may be slight moisture or buildup under the foreskin. I live in a hot and humid climate, and I sweat regularly. I have tried improving hygiene and using regular soaps, but it has not helped. I would like to know: What could be the cause of this persistent odor? Is this a fungal or bacterial infection (like Balanitis or Bromhidrosis)? What treatment (medicated wash, creams, or tablets) would you recommend? Thank you.
