Hello

If you had intercourse on June 1 and started having light bleeding on June 10, it is unlikely that the bleeding is due to a pregnancy from that intercourse, as it is too soon for a pregnancy test to become positive. Since you missed your April period and had only one day of bleeding in May, your cycle may be irregular.

If both pregnancy tests in May were negative and you are now having bleeding, it may simply be a menstrual period or hormonal irregularity. Monitor the bleeding over the next few days. If it becomes a normal period, pregnancy is less likely.

If the bleeding remains very light, stops quickly, or your next period is delayed, repeat a home pregnancy test about 2–3 weeks after the June 1 intercourse date. If tests remain negative but your periods continue to be irregular, consult a gynecologist for evaluation of possible hormonal causes such as stress, weight changes, thyroid problems, or PCOS.

Seek medical attention sooner if you develop severe abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, dizziness, or a positive pregnancy test.

Take care

Hello Samajh sakti hoon ki aapko is situation se kitni pareshani ho rahi hai. Aayiye isse thoda samjhte hain:

### Periods ka Delay 1. Periods ka Delay: Aapka April mein period nahi aaya aur May mein sirf ek din ka tha, jo ki unusual hai. Yeh hormonal imbalance, stress, ya kisi aur health issue ki wajah se ho sakta hai.

2. Negative Pregnancy Tests: Agar aapne do baar negative pregnancy tests kiye hain, toh yeh pregnancy ka indication nahi hai. Lekin, kabhi-kabhi tests itne jaldi nahi pata karte, isliye agar aapko doubt hai toh ek baar phir test karna achha rahega.

### Aaj Periods aane par Kya Karein 1. Periods ka Aana: Agar aaj aapko periods aaye hain, toh yeh achha sign hai ki aapka body apne aapko regulate kar raha hai.

2. Symptoms ka Dhyan Rakhein: Agar periods ke saath koi unusual symptoms hain (jaise bahut zyada dard, ya bahut zyada bleeding), toh doctor se sampark karna zaroori hai.

3. Health Check-Up: Agar aapko lagta hai ki aapka menstrual cycle abhi bhi irregular hai, toh ek gynecologist se consult karna achha rahega. Woh aapko proper tests aur treatment ke liye guide kar sakte hain.

### Summary Aaj aapke periods aane se aapko thoda relief milna chahiye. Lekin agar aapko koi aur concerns hain ya agar aapka cycle abhi bhi irregular rahe, toh doctor se milna zaroori hai

Thank you

Hello, Aapki baat se lag raha hai ki June 1 ko physical relation hua tha aur ab June 10 ko thodi bleeding/periods aaye hain. Aapne May mein pregnancy test bhi 2 baar kiya tha aur dono negative aaye the. Is situation mein pregnancy ki possibility kaafi kam lagti hai, especially agar pregnancy tests negative the aur ab bleeding bhi shuru ho gayi hai. Kabhi-kabhi periods hormonal changes, stress, weight changes, ya ovulation mein delay ki wajah se irregular ho sakte hain. Agar bleeding normal period ki tarah gradually badh jati hai, to yeh most likely aapka period hi ho sakta hai. Agar June 1 ke relation ke baad pregnancy ko lekar abhi bhi concern hai, to relation ke 3 weeks baad ek urine pregnancy test kar sakti hain. Us samay test ka result zyada reliable hota hai.

Final Prescription/Advice: • Filhal ghabrane ki zarurat nahi lagti. • Apne bleeding pattern ko observe karein. • Agar bleeding normal period jaisi ho jati hai, to pregnancy ki sambhavna bahut kam hai. • Agar period properly na aaye, ya sirf spotting ho aur pregnancy ka doubt rahe, to June 1 ke relation ke 3 weeks baad urine pregnancy test repeat karein. • Agar agle 1–2 mahine bhi periods irregular rahein, to ek gynecologist se milkar ultrasound aur hormonal evaluation karwana uchit rahega.

Feel free to reach out again.

Regards, Dr. Nirav Jain MBBS, D.Fam.Medicine

you had physical contact on 1 June, and on 10 June you started having a small amount of bleeding that feels like a period. You mentioned that you did not get periods in April, had bleeding in May for only one day, and pregnancy tests in May were negative twice. Light bleeding can happen for several reasons, including a true period starting, hormonal fluctuations, irregular ovulation, stress, or cycle changes. If there was any possibility of pregnancy from recent sexual activity, a pregnancy test is most reliable at least 2–3 weeks after the sexual contact or after a missed period, so testing too early can sometimes be misleading. If the bleeding remains very light, your periods continue to be irregular, or you miss another cycle, it would be reasonable to see a gynecologist for evaluation and possible tests such as a pregnancy test, hormonal tests, or ultrasound. Seek care sooner if you develop severe pain, heavy bleeding, dizziness, or unusual discharge.

After engaging in physical activity on June 1st and noticing your period started on June 10th, it’s important to consider the factors that may contribute to such changes in menstrual cycles. It seems like you skipped your period in April and got it again in May for just one day. Periods can be irregular sometimes, and several factors could be involved, like stress, significant changes in body weight, hormonal imbalances, or recent changes in physical activity can influence cycle regularity. Since you’ve taken pregnancy tests in May and they both came back negative, pregnancy is likely not the issue here. Negative tests are typically reliable when done correctly, especially if two separate tests confirmed this. However, irregular periods warrant attention to rule out other conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid disorders, or other hormonal disturbances. If irregular cycles persist, it may be a good idea to consult with your healthcare provider for a more detailed evaluation. Make sure to track your cycle—duration, flow, any associated symptoms—for a few months. This information would be valuable for any healthcare provider. Meanwhile, maintaining a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and managing stress can positively impact menstrual health. If you experience any severe pain, heavy bleeding, or other concerning symptoms, seek medical attention promptly.
