Hello dear Please be aware See as per clinical history it seems phimosis is due to either due to trauma, injury or inflammation of the glance area ( also called balanaphitis). One could be physiological at birth that subsides by 3-4 years. However there are following treatment options Stretching exercises including kegel exercises and asan - vajra Ointment like cortisone ( on recommendation only) Circumcision ( surgery) which is the last option I suggest you to please go for stretching exercises and observe for 3-4 months. In case of no improvement, then go for surgery only after in person consultation with gynacolologist or sexologist Hope i clear with your doubts Regards
Phimosis can indeed lead to difficulties during sex as it involves the inability to retract the foreskin fully over the glans. This condition can make sexual intercourse painful or impractical, as the foreskin may not move comfortably back and forth. It’s important to address this issue since it could cause not only physical discomfort but also emotional distress. Firstly, consider conservative treatments like topical steroid creams which may help loosen the tight foreskin over time. These are usually applied two to three times daily for six to eight weeks and can be effective for mild cases. Be sure to follow specific instructions from a healthcare provider for proper use. Regular, gentle stretching exercises might also be beneficial; gently retract the foreskin back as comfortable without causing pain, repeating this a multiple times in a session. However, these are slow processes and persistence is key. Should these measures not suffice, options like preputioplasty or circumcision may be considered. Preputioplasty is a minor surgical procedure that widens the foreskin, while circumcision entirely removes it. Discuss these possibilities with a urologist to weigh the benefits and risks effectively. Importantly, seek medical advice if phimosis causes swelling, pain, or recurrent infections, as these can lead to additional complications. Meanwhile, avoid forcibly retracting the foreskin as it may lead to para-phimosis, a condition where the retracted foreskin cannot return to its initial position, potentially requiring emergency care. Routine hygiene is also essential—clean underneath the foreskin carefully to prevent infections. Remember this advice is for informational purposes and visiting a healthcare professional for tailored treatment is vital.
