Doctors' responses

1.Erectile dysfunction is very common and can be due to stress tiredness poor lifestyle diabetes or low testosterone levels.

2.Since it is recurring you should first get basic blood tests done including sugar cholesterol thyroid and hormone profile.

3.Simple lifestyle changes like daily exercise weight management good sleep and avoiding alcohol or smoking can bring back natural erections.

4.Over the counter sprays and tablets only give temporary relief and may cause side effects if used without prescription.

5.Safe and effective medicines like sildenafil or tadalafil are available but must be started after doctor consultation to avoid risks.

6.With the right guidance from a urologist or sexologist this problem is completely treatable and you can regain a healthy and fulfilling sex life.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) can be a frustrating issue, and it’s understandable you’re looking for reliable solutions. The key is to identify what’s causing the problem. There are many possible factors involved: psychological, physical, or a combination of both. Stress, anxiety, depression, or exhaustion can impact sexual performance. Physically, it might be related to cardiovascular issues, diabetes, hormonal imbalances, obesity, smoking, or alcohol consumption. In terms of medications, PDE5 inhibitors like sildenafil (Viagra), tadalafil (Cialis), or vardenafil (Levitra) are commonly used and often effective. These require a prescription and should be used under a doctor’s supervision to ensure they’re safe for you, especially if you have underlying health conditions. Avoid using non-prescription sprays or pills as they may be unsafe or ineffective. Beyond medication, consider lifestyle adjustments: Exercising regularly, maintaining a healthy diet, reducing alcohol ingestion, quitting smoking, and managing stress can have significant impacts. It’s important to discuss with a healthcare provider to pinpoint the underlying cause and decide the most suitable treatment strategy. They might also recommend some blood tests to check for conditions like diabetes or hormonal levels. If symptoms are impacting your quality of life or are accompanied by other symptoms like pain or changes in urination, seek medical evaluation promptly to rule out more serious causes. Avoid self-medicating without proper guidance, as misuse of ED medications can lead to serious health risks.
