Hello Anushka, thank you for sharing your concern. It seems you have Seborrheic Dermatitis (oily dandruff). It easily treatable with proper shampoo rotation & scalp care. Here is my advise -
1. Anti-Dandruff Shampoo- Use any one of these twice weekly for 4-6 weeks - Ketoconazole 2% Shampoo OR Ciclopirox Olamine Shampoo.
2. Normal Shampoo- L’Oréal Paris EverPure Sulfate-Free Moisture Shampoo OR BBlunt Intense Moisture Shampoo OR Minimalist 18% Anagain Hair Fall Control Shampoo.
3. Additional Tips- Use lukewarm water (not hot). Oil scalp once a week only (coconut + tea tree oil mix, 30 mins before wash). Avoid overnight oiling, it worsens dandruff. Comb scalp daily to improve circulation. If itching or scaling is severe, kindly visit a certified Dermatologist.
4. Diet & Lifestyle- Eat foods rich in biotin, zinc, and omega-3 (eggs, nuts, seeds, fish). Stay hydrated (2–3 L/day). Manage stress as it can worsen dandruff and hair fall.
