onion juice for hair before and after - #17945

Vikram

I am really at my wits end here! A couple of months ago, my hair started falling out way more than usual, like seriously, clumps! My friend told me to try onion juice for hair because she swore by it. She's been raving about the before and after pics she saw, and I figured why not, right? I followed her advice and applied onion juice for hair regularly, hoping for that miracle transformation. The smell is... well, let’s be honest, it's pretty overwhelming, but I powered through it. I’ve been using it for about three weeks now and my friends say they can see some changes, but honestly, I'm not sure. I still feel a bit skeptical about the whole onion juice for hair thing. Have any of you guys tried it? What were the results like for you? I keep wondering if that before and after transition is legit or just a marketing ploy. Should I stick with it longer? Or am I wasting my time? Seriously, is it normal to feel a bit uncertain about this whole onion juice for hair experiment? Any input would be super helpful, thanks!

Onion juice has been a popular home remedy for hair loss, and there’s some anecdotal support for its effectiveness. The sulfur in onions is thought to boost circulation, providing more nutrients to hair follicles and potentially promoting hair growth. Some people also claim that it improves shine and strength. However, the clinical evidence supporting onion juice as a treatment for hair loss is limited and not as robust as some other treatments available. If your hair loss started suddenly and is quite severe, it’s advisable to consult with a healthcare professional to rule out underlying issues like nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, or other medical conditions that can cause hair loss. In terms of your current situation, continuing with the onion juice might not be harmful, but it’s also important not to rely on it solely as a cure. Make sure that you’re also following a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals that are essential for hair health, such as biotin, vitamin D, and zinc. It might also be worth exploring other evidence-based treatments, like minoxidil, and using gentle hair care practices to avoid further damage. If after a few more weeks you don’t notice any significant improvement or if you’re concerned about the severity of your hair loss, a visit to a dermatologist or a trichologist could provide more tailored advice and treatment options.
