saboo clinic - #27502

Kian

I am a little worried here. For the past few months, I've been having this nagging pain in my lower back that just won't go away. Initially, I thought it was just stress or muscle strain from my job, but now I'm not so sure. My friend suggested I check out the saboo clinic because they were really happy with their treatment there. First visit was ok, they did some tests and told me to rest, but the pain is still there, and it kinda freaks me out. I mean, I went back for a follow-up, and they gave me some stretches to do, but I feel like I need more than just “light activity.” I don’t even know how to describe it, but I keep second-guessing myself. Should I ask more questions at the saboo clinic? They seemed nice but I really feel like they didn't take me seriously enough the second time. Has anyone had similar issues there? Was it helpful? I'm just getting more and more frustrated, and part of me is thinking about getting a second opinion, but should I trust the saboo clinic? Like maybe they just missed something important. I feel like I’m going in circles here! Please help, any advice would be really appreciate it!

Doctors' responses

Given that your lower back pain has persisted for months and has not improved with initial treatment or rest, it’s important to consider a few things. First, don’t hesitate to ask more questions during your next visit to the Saboo Clinic. It’s crucial that you feel your concerns are being addressed properly. Communication with your healthcare provider is key — ask about the possible causes of the pain and whether more thorough testing might be necessary. Persistent back pain can result from a variety of conditions, such as a herniated disc, spinal stenosis, or even something unrelated to the spine itself, like kidney issues. It would be advisable to explore if imaging studies like an MRI or X-ray could be warranted to look for structural problems, or even blood tests if an infection or inflammatory process is suspected. Since you’ve mentioned they’ve suggested light activity, clarify specifically what kinds of exercise, stretches, or physical therapy protocols could benefit you. However, if you feel that your concerns aren’t being taken seriously or the approach isn’t working, seeking a second opinion from another healthcare provider may be wise. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to ensure you get the appropriate care, especially if something might have been overlooked. Also, keep an eye for red-flag symptoms that would require immediate medical attention, like severe pain, weakness in your legs, or incontinence issues, as these could suggest nerve involvement. Taking these steps can bring more clarity on what’s happening and how you can effectively manage it.
