rajma is hot or cold for body - #27639
I am kinda confused about rajma and its effects on my body. I’ve been eating it regularly 'cause I love it, but my grandma always said that rajma is hot for the body. Like, she’s adamant that it can raise your body temperature or something? The other day, I felt kinda warm after having some rajma, but then I thought, maybe it was just the spices? We made it with a lot of garlic and chilies, and I’m not used to spicy food. My friends say rajma is good for digestion and all that, but now I’m wondering if mixing it with spicy stuff makes it even hotter. I really wanna know if rajma is hot or cold for body in general. I mean, is it okay to eat on a regular basis, or should I balance it out with something else? Also, should I avoid making it too spicy? I had this weird wakeup night with a mild stomach ache after I smashed a big plate the night before—could that’ve been the rajma or just my cooking? I like cooking with it, but if rajma is actually hot for body, I might need to rethink my meal plans. Anyone else deal with this or have tips?
