health benefits of curd

Arush

I am struggling with digestive issues that seem to pop up whenever I eat certain foods. Like, I’ve read about the health benefits of curd and really wanna know if that could help me or it’s just a myth. Last week, after feeling bloated and uncomfortable for days, I decided to give it a shot. I started having curd every day. I thought, hey, maybe this is the answer considering the health benefits of curd are supposed to be so great. Surprise, surprise, my stomach feels a bit better, but I'm not sure if it’s just a coincidence or if there’s really something special about curd. Also, I’ve heard people mention probiotics in curd, which sounds fancy, but is that where the health benefits of curd come in? I mean, my breath feels fresher too, which is weird but nice. Do you think I should keep it in my diet for a while longer? Or could too much curd backfire on me? I’m kinda anxious about making my gastro issues worse, y’know? Ugh, I wish I could just get a straight answer about the health benefits of curd without all the confusing info out there! What do you all think?

Curd can indeed offer some digestive benefits thanks to its probiotic content. Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that help maintain the natural balance of organisms in the intestines, which can aid in digestion and potentially alleviate some gastrointestinal issues like bloating and discomfort. Including curd in your diet might contribute to improved gut health, but it’s important to understand that it may not be a cure-all. The benefits you’re experiencing like a fresher breath or eased stomach issues might be related to these probiotics. However, if you’re dealing with ongoing digestive problems, it’s crucial to identify the underlying triggers which could involve specific food intolerances or allergies, so you might consider monitoring and possibly eliminating certain foods to observe any changes. It’s always a wise step to consult with a healthcare professional if these issues persist, to get a more comprehensive assessment and tailored advice. Regarding curd, most people can include it in their diet without negative effects, but moderation is key. Consuming excessive amounts could lead to problems due to the lactose content if you’re lactose intolerant, or cause calcium overload if taken excessively. Keeping a food diary can help guide you in tracking how different foods affect your digestion, and continuing the inclusion of curd might be beneficial as long as it’s part of a balanced diet. Keep an eye on any adverse reactions and if symptoms intensify, it’s essential to seek diagnostic evaluations to explore further causes beyond dietary options.
