I am really confused about the uses of ORS powder. A couple of weeks ago, my daughter had a really bad stomach bug and the doctor recommended ORS powder to refill her electrolytes and keep her hydrated. I didn’t know much about it at the time, but when I got home, I started looking up the uses of ORS powder online and was kinda shocked by how important it is for dehydration. I mean, they say the uses of ORS powder are vital for everyone from kids to adults, but I had no clue how effective it could be! After my daughter bounced back, I thought about all the times I’ve heard about people using it for heat stroke or even during sports, but do the uses of ORS powder really extend that far? Like what exactly can it help with? Also, sometimes I find it hard to convince my family to actually drink it, especially the flavored versions, any tips on that? I've seen people mixing it in different drinks too, but is that okay? Just want to make sure we’re using it the right way, ya know? I feel like ORS powder is one of those things that isn’t talked about enough, but could help sooo many people if they understood the uses of ORS powder better. Any insights or personal experiences?
