can typhoid spread - #28474
I am feeling really anxious about a recent trip to a place where there were some reports of typhoid cases. A week after coming back, I started experiencing these strange symptoms like persistent fever, stomach pains, and fatigue. I went to my doctor, and he mentioned that it might be related to typhoid but didn’t seem super concerned. He just suggested a few tests and told me to keep an eye on things. But I'm freaking out because I keep wondering: can typhoid spread? Like, could I have unknowingly spread it to my family or friends? I mean, I’ve been out and about, and what if I did something wrong? I read online that it can spread through contaminated food and water, which totally freaks me out since I was eating all kinds of street food while traveling. If typhoid can spread that way, how careful do I really need to be right now? Are there any precautions I should take at home? Seriously, can typhoid spread through sharing utensils or, like, just touching things? My mind is racing with concerns and I just wanna be sure I’m not putting anyone at risk. Please help!
