Hello

A rash from the back to the breast line with itching after using new skincare products could be due to contact dermatitis (allergic or irritant eczema), but other possibilities include fungal infection, heat rash, or less commonly psoriasis.

For now:

* Stop using the new skincare products. * Use a fragrance-free moisturizer several times daily. * If it appears eczematous and there is no ring-shaped border or signs of fungal infection, you can try 1% hydrocortisone cream twice daily for up to 7 days. * Avoid hot showers, harsh soaps, and scratching.

If the rash is ring-shaped, spreading, or not improving with hydrocortisone, it could be fungal and should be assessed before using more steroid cream.

Please arrange an appointment with your primary care doctor or a dermatologist, especially since it has lasted over a month. Seek prompt care if the rash becomes very painful, develops pus, blisters, fever, or spreads rapidly

Take care
