how to increse sex time - #23272

Ira

I am feeling a bit lost here, and I just need some advice on how to increase sex time. My partner and I are in a great place, but I’ve noticed that I kinda get nervous and, well, things wrap up faster than I’d like. I mean, it’s not like I don’t enjoy it – I do! But wouldn’t it be nice to last a bit longer? We’ve been together for about two years now, and I want to make sure we keep things spicy!!! I’ve tried pelvic floor exercises, and I even read that breathing techniques might help, but nothing seems to really work. Sometimes I feel like the pressure to perform is making it worse. I can’t help but worry that if I don’t figure out how to increase sex time, it’s gonna affect our intimacy and make things awkward. I just want us to have fun and enjoy each other! Has anyone gone through something similar or found some practical stuff that actually works? Just feeling a bit overwhelmed here and could really use some tips or personal experiences about how to increase sex time in a way that makes it enjoyable for both of us. Thanks in advance!

Increasing the duration of sexual activity can be a common goal and there are several strategies you can explore. First, it’s great that you’ve tried pelvic floor exercises; consistency here can improve control over ejaculation as these muscles support the pelvic region and their strength may help manage timing better. Breathing techniques are well-founded too, since focusing on deep, slow breaths can reduce anxiety and help maintain control during intercourse. It’s important to approach this with an understanding that psychological factors often play a significant role – performance anxiety is particularly common and can create a cycle of stress, leading to quicker ejaculation. Creating a low-pressure and relaxed environment with your partner is vital. Mutually discuss any pressures you’re feeling; open communication can relieve tension and make your shared sexual experiences more enjoyable.

If these approaches continue not to bring the desired effect, it might be worthwhile to speak with a medical professional to rule out possible underlying health conditions or consider behavioral therapies that are specifically aimed at premature ejaculation. Options might include certain medications or topical anesthetics that can help delay climax — though it’s crucial these are used under medical guidance to ensure safety and customize a treatment plan that’s right for you. Remember that seeing a healthcare provider can be immensely useful, as they can tailor advice and interventions specific to your individual circumstances. Avoid striving for perfection; keep focusing on mutual pleasure and connection which ultimately enhances the experience.
