how to sex more time - #23606

Siddharth

I am really worried about my sex life lately. My partner and I used to have a pretty active sex life, but over the past few months, it seems like we're just not connecting like we used to. I’m trying to figure out how to sex more time into our routine, but it’s hard! Work has been crazy busy for both of us, and then there's kids, you know? There are days when I feel totally stressed, and when I finally get a moment alone, all I want to do is crash! Sometimes, I feel guilty about not wanting to sex more time when I know my partner misses the intimacy we used to share. I've tried planning date nights, but they often get canceled because of some family obligation or we just don't feel up to it, which is frustrating. I guess I’m wondering if anyone has tips on how to sex more time, or how to get that spark back. Is it just about scheduling things better or are there things we can do to make ourselves feel more in the mood? I just don’t know what to do anymore. I really hope we can find a way to have a more fulfilling connection again, but it feels like it’s slipping away. Any advice?

Finding time for intimacy in a busy life can indeed be challenging, but there are a few strategies that might help. First, assess whether you’re both getting enough sleep and managing stress effectively since fatigue and stress can significantly impact libido. Regular physical activity, even in small amounts like a daily walk, can improve mood and energy levels, potentially rekindling sexual desire. Consider setting aside dedicated time for intimacy, but not just in a rigid schedule; think of intimate moments during other interactions, like shared showers or quiet moments when the kids are asleep. Addressing communication directly with your partner is also crucial. It can be uncomfortable, but openly discussing your feelings about your sex life and exploring each other’s needs and desires can improve your connection. Exploring new ways of interacting, whether through enhancing your communication on daily matters, trying new activities together, or even exploring different sexual practices, can bring novelty and excitement. Also, take into account any potential health factors—such as changes in medication, hormonal shifts, or underlying medical conditions—contributing to decreased desire, and consider consulting a professional if necessary. Finding a balance is key, and while it may take time, being open to adapting and experimenting may lead to a deeper, more fulfilling connection over time.
