I am really puzzled about this ongoing issue. A few weeks ago, I started taking magnesium supplements because my doctor mentioned they might help with my muscle cramps. But like, ever since I started, I've been having this weird and kinda embarrassing problem. I mean, does magnesium cause diarrhea?? I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal, but now I find myself running to the bathroom way more than I used to. At first, it was just mild, but now it's like, constant. I’ve tried adjusting the dosage, but nothing really seems to help. I thought maybe, just maybe, it was something I ate, but my diet hasn’t changed much! It's kinda frustrating because the cramps are still here too. Ugh! I read some articles online that say magnesium can be a common culprit for digestive issues like diarrhea, but does magnesium cause diarrhea for everyone? Or is it just me? Is there a certain type of magnesium that’s less likely to do this? I've even considered stopping the supplements altogether, but I'm scared the cramps will come back full force! Would love to hear from you guys if you've had similar experiences or any advice, please!!
