I am really trying to figure out if curd is good for gut health because I’ve been having this ongoing issue with bloating and all sorts of digestive discomfort lately. Like, I’ve tried different diets and I feel like nothing is really working. A friend recommended I start eating more curd, which she swears has helped her digestion a lot. But what really got me thinking is, is curd good for gut health? I used to eat it all the time, especially with my meals, but then when my stomach issues started, I cut a bunch of things out including curd. Now I’m wondering if that was a mistake. Anyway, I went to my doctor last week and he didn’t seem to have a super strong opinion on it, just said it’s okay in moderation but didn’t really explain if it’d help with my gut issues. I even looked up some studies but they all seem to say different things, like some promoting curd for probiotics and gut health and others saying it could cause symptoms in some people. I need to know, like, would it actually help with bloating? Should I give it another shot? I’m just kinda confused about the whole curd and gut health thing. Any advice would be super appreciated!
