What to do if I'm 4 days late on my period and have negative pregnancy tests but feel nausea and sleepy?

Client_e99206

had s** on the 8 and 9 of may. My period came on the 10th of may and it lasted for 4 days. My next period should be on the 6th of June but it did not come. I used pt after 2 and 3 weeks after the test and it came out negative. I took a pt this morning and it came out negative. I did a blood test today also and it came out negative but I'm sacred what if ot is a cryptic pregnancy because I've suffered from irregular periods before. It has been stable since October last year till last month. I feel nausea and sleepy. I had a brown discharge or spot. Does that not mean I'm pregnant like that I'm 4 days late

Hello dear See chances of pregnancy can be there since the periods have not come and it is one week due. Although pregnancy strip test are negative but still i suggest you to observe for 1-2 weeks There can also be chances ofhormonal alterations or physiological variation Iam suggesting some tests for confirmation of exact diagnosis. Please share the result with gynaecologist in person for better clarity and for safety please donot take any medication without consulting the concerned physician Serum ferritin Serum tsh Serum prolactin Serum progesterone Rft Lft CBC Urine analysis Pelvic USG Serum estrogen Serum progesterone Pregnancy strip test blood HCG repeat Hopefully you recover soon Regards

When your period is late and you’re experiencing symptoms like nausea and fatigue, it’s natural to be concerned about pregnancy, especially when you’ve had irregular periods in the past. However, negative results from multiple home pregnancy tests and a blood test are typically a strong indication that you’re not pregnant, including cryptic pregnancy, which is rare. Two weeks after a missed period, a blood test should be conclusive. Several other factors could explain your late period and symptoms. Stress and changes in diet or exercise habits can affect your menstrual cycle. Hormonal changes, such as those related to thyroid issues or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), might also be playing a role, considering your history of irregular periods. The nausea and fatigue may be unrelated to your menstrual cycle and could stem from a variety of causes, from mild viral infections to dietary changes. I would recommend monitoring your symptoms for a few more days. Should your period not arrive or your symptoms worsen, visiting a healthcare professional might provide more insight. They can perform a thorough examination and potentially run additional tests to identify underlying issues like thyroid dysfunction or other hormonal imbalances. While self-treatment is tempting, especially with home remedies, some conditions need a clinician’s oversight. Always prioritize your safety and take time to note if any other symptoms develop.
