is apple good for dengue - #18006
I am trying to figure something out here cause my cousin just got diagnosed with dengue last week. It's been a rollercoaster with his symptoms fluctuating — one moment he's feverish and the next super weak and all he can do is lay in bed. The doc's saying fluids are crucial, but we've heard some chatter about diet, too. I've been reading up and came across this idea that is apple good for dengue? Like, should he be munching on apples or drinking apple juice? He's been in and out of the hospital, and I feel like we’re just trying to piece together what works. I mean, it feels kinda silly to think about fruit when he's dealing with something so serious, but I just want to help him with whatever I can. I've seen some places say that apples have nice nutrients or whatever, but is apple good for dengue really backed by something, or is it just hearsay? Are there specific things we should be looking at in his diet? Sometimes he eats pretty well, and other times he just can’t keep anything down. Could apples maybe help?? I'm just worried, and I’m hoping to get some solid advice here!
