I am really confused about something, and maybe someone here can help. Lately, I’ve been trying to shed some extra pounds, you know? I have tried running, dieting, and honestly nothing seemed to work like it should! My friend suggested yoga, but I'm not sure if I believe that can yoga help in weight loss? I mean, I always thought yoga was just about stretching and relaxation, right? But then she showed me this super intense yoga class online, and people were sweating buckets, going crazy with these poses. I’ve gone to a few classes, and while I love the calmness it brings, I still wonder does yoga actually burn calories? Like, can yoga help in weight loss enough to make a real difference? I’ve read some articles suggesting it can, but mostly they just talk about all the mental benefits and not much about actual pounds dropping, ya know? And do I have to combine it with something else like strength training or cardio, or can yoga help in weight loss on its own? Would love to hear if anyone has seen actual results from just yoga or if I should keep running too. Thank you!
