soaked raisins - #27384
I am trying to figure out the whole soaked raisins thing. A few weeks ago, I felt super bloated and kinda sluggish, and my friend suggested I try soaked raisins. At first, I was like, "really? raisins?" but I went ahead and soaked some overnight in water, and honestly, after a few days of eating them, I felt a bit different. I mean, not like a miracle, but I think I had a little more energy. I'm also trying to eat healthier, so maybe that helped too?? Anyway, I'm confused, is there any real science behind soaked raisins? I mean, are they good for digestion like everyone says? I read somewhere that soaking them makes the nutrients more available or something, but does that really work? And how many soaked raisins should I be eating, like is there a limit? I don't want to go overboard, but part of me thinks they helped with the bloating. Has anyone else experienced this with soaked raisins? Am I just imagining things??
