I am really confused about something regarding food combinations! Last week, I had a really nice dinner with my family, and my mom made her special karela (bitter gourd) dish that I usually love, but I always feel a bit weird afterward. Like, instead of just enjoying the meal, I found myself wondering, can we drink milk after eating karela? I mean, I've heard that karela is great for health but doesn't mix well with dairy. Some of my friends say it's totally fine, but then other people act like it's like a crime or something! I did pour myself a glass of milk after dinner because I was craving it, but then I remembered hearing somewhere that mixing karela and milk might cause an upset stomach or something worse. I can’t afford to be sick, especially with my busy schedule. Plus, it can't be true that something as normal as drinking milk after karela could be harmful, right?
