selenium rich nuts - #27279
I am feeling a bit overwhelmed and need some clarity on this selenium rich nuts thing. A few weeks ago, I started feeling really tired all the time, like I could barely get out of bed. My friend mentioned that I might be deficient in selenium or something, and that selenium rich nuts could help. I’ve read that Brazil nuts are a big source of selenium, and omg I love those! However, I also heard that you shouldn’t eat too many 'cause they can have too much selenium? Also, what about other selenium rich nuts? I tried some macadamia nuts too, thinking they might be good but I’m not sure how they compare. When I looked it up online, I thought I saw something that said too much selenium can actually be harmful, like it can lead to selenium toxicity or whatnot, which made me super worried! I don’t wanna mess up my health trying to feel better, ya know? How many of these selenium rich nuts should I actually be eating in a day to get the benefits without risking too much? It feels like it’s all so confusing! Any advice would be much appreciated.
