Pcos - #29154
I am really at a loss here and hoping to get some advice about my situation with PCOS. For the past few months, I’ve been dealing with some really frustrating symptoms. My periods are super irregular, like sometimes I go two or three months without one, and then other times it’s just a few days apart! I also have really painful bloating and acne that’s gotten way worse, especially around my chin. It's embarrassing and just adds to my stress. I went to my doctor and after running some tests, they told me it’s likely PCOS. But, honestly, I feel kinda clueless about what that really means for me. They mentioned a few things like lifestyle changes and some medications, but I’m not sure what’s best. I mean, do these treatments actually work for managing PCOS? And what kinda foods should I be eating? Should I be exercising, or does that even help with PCOS? Sometimes, I think I might be going a bit crazy with all this. Some days, I just wanna throw my hands up and scream! Is there anyone else out there who has been diagnosed with PCOS and found a way to manage it? Would love to hear your experiences and tips.
