best time to drink abc juice - #27146

Shreya

I am really confused about this whole abc juice thing. I mean, a friend told me it's super healthy, and they drink it every morning before breakfast but then I read that the best time to drink abc juice might actually be at night or around lunch?! I’ve been feeling kinda sluggish lately, and my digestive issues have been acting up. My mom used to make it for me when I was little, but I never payed attention to when! Last week, I decided to jump in and try making it myself. I blended up carrots, beets, and apples and wow, it’s actually really good! But, now there’s like this whole debate everywhere about the best time to drink abc juice. Should I really stick to mornings like my friend says? Or would it be fine to drink it later in the day too? And if I'm trying to detox a bit or boost my energy, should that change when and how I consume it? I dunno, maybe I’m overthinking this. Like, do you guys drink it at different times based on how you're feeling or is it pretty much the same routine for everyone? Any insights would be super helpful!

When it comes to ABC juice, which you’ve correctly identified as a blend of apple, beetroot, and carrot, timing can actually be flexible based on what you’re aiming to achieve. Drinking ABC juice in the morning on an empty stomach, like your friend does, is quite popular because it can give you a refreshing start and a quick nutrient boost. It’s full of vitamins and antioxidants, so having it first thing can support your overall energy levels and metabolism. If you’re experiencing sluggishness, a morning routine might be worth a try to see if it makes a difference in your energy throughout the day. However, if you’re dealing with digestive issues, sometimes having juice on an empty stomach could cause or worsen discomfort for certain individuals, as it can be quite rich and fibrous. If you find it aggravates your symptoms, trying it with a small meal or later in the day might be a better option. Basically, you should listen to your body and adjust accordingly. Some people prefer having it post-lunch to stave off an afternoon slump, which can also be beneficial if your mornings are too busy or don’t suit your stomach. Drinking it at night is less common, primarily because of the natural sugars in apples and beets that might interfere with sleep for some people, though this isn’t universally the case. For detoxification, incorporating the juice into your daily routine may help boost your nutrient intake, but its impact should be assessed as part of an overall balanced diet, rather than in isolation. Remember, the best approach is the one that aligns with how your body feels, tolerates the juice, and supports your daily activities. So, it’s not necessarily about finding a one-size-fits-all solution but rather what personally works for you.
