brown sugar is good for health - #28120
I am really confused about something. For the last few months, I’ve been trying to eat healthier, cut down on my sugar, you know? I was talking to a friend who swears by brown sugar because she says brown sugar is good for health. I thought all sugar was bad, but she mentioned that brown sugar is better than white sugar, and it’s less processed or something? I mean, I like the taste better too! But I don't know if I should swap white for brown in my diet. I tried using it in my coffee instead of regular sugar, and honestly, it tasted kinda nice. My neighbor used to tell me that brown sugar is good for health, too, especially when you have a sore throat or something, but how true is that? Like, does brown sugar actually offer any benefits, or is it just hype? I'm worried that I might be just kidding myself into thinking it's healthy. Also, how much should I realistically be using, if it is good? I don't wanna overdo it, ya know? Should I just stick to natural sweeteners like honey or should I be okay with brown sugar here and there since it’s supposed to be good for health? Would love some insight from you guys!
