should we eat fruits at night - #22509
I am really confused about the whole "should we eat fruits at night" thing. Like, I've always heard that fruits are super healthy, right? But then, my friend told me that eating fruits at night can mess with digestion and even cause weight gain. I mean, I love my late-night snacks, usually some slices of apple or berries, but now I’m second-guessing everything. A couple of weeks ago, I had this huge bowl of mixed fruits after dinner, and honestly, I didn’t sleep well after that. I kept tossing and turning! Is that just a coincidence, or is there something to this "should we eat fruits at night" debate? Sometimes I feel like the nutrition advice out there is sooo confusing. I've read about people saying that certain fruits can help with sleep and others say they spike your sugar levels. When consulting my doctor last month, she didn’t really give me a straight answer about the "should we eat fruits at night" question either. I feel stuck here, hoping to find out if there's some kinda rule or boundary regarding fruit intake during the night. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
