gond katira is hot or cold - #22632
I am really confused about whether gond katira is hot or cold for the body. A few days ago, I tried a dish that had gond katira in it, and I loved it! But then a friend was like, "Oh, but you know, it's hot for your body." I didn't really get what that meant, and I've been looking up stuff, but the info is all over the place. I tend to have a sensitive stomach, and I remember having these digestive issues after eating it last summer. I thought maybe that's why! So now I wonder, is gond katira is hot or cold for real? My mom always says certain foods can either cool you down or heat you up, and I think this might be one of those things. But then again, I’ve read that it actually helps with stuff like digestion and hydration, so how does that fit in? I don't know if I should avoid it altogether or if it's okay to have sometimes. Like, can it be both hot and cold, depending on other ingredients or how it’s prepared? Or am I just overthinking it? If someone can clear this up for me, that would be super helpful!
