is stevia better than sugar - #22733
I am really confused about something I read recently. About a month ago, I decided to switch to stevia because I heard a lot of people saying that is stevia better than sugar for health, especially when it comes to weight loss and blood sugar levels. I have this sweet tooth, like I can’t resist desserts and sodas! I used to use regular sugar, but my doctor said I should be careful due to my family history of diabetes, ya know? So then, after switching to stevia, I thought I was doing great, but I'm not sure if it's really good for me or just hype. Sometimes I wonder, is stevia better than sugar for real? I mean, my cravings for sweet stuff still hit me like a truck, and I find myself wondering if I'm just trading one problem for another. Like, does stevia affect my body differently? I read mixed stuff online, some say it's natural and some totally against it claiming stevia has weird side effects. Just in the past week, I ended up buying some cookies that have stevia, but they’re still not as satisfying as the ones with sugar. I'm even back to checking ingredients constantly, which is kinda exhausting. Can anyone help me figure out if is stevia better than sugar or is it just one of those trends that’ll go away? I need to know before I make any more changes to my diet!
