What is the impact of calorie counting and dieting on my mental health and eating habits?
I may or may not have an eating disorder, ive been struggling with food ever since i was 12 years old, when i was 12 i used to eat a lot, much more than what the average teenage boy probably needs to eat, but as i bevame older i realized that i was quite chubby and restricted my calorie limit to 1200 for a month and lost 4~5kg (51kg to 46kg) after thati kept dieting and binging until i realized i gained 2kg after winter break. When i realized that i waited a couole months till it was spring break and started ro diet again, losing 4kg and becoming 44kg (though i am 45kg and 157cm right now) i am insecure, and was even more insecure back then, nowadays i eat 1200 cals for 5 days a week and then for 2 days eat 2000 calories so i caj eat a lot and still lose weight. I've never made myself puke or taken laxatives to lose weight but if i feel guilty i have excerised to compensate.my journery to school is quite rigorous so i feel quite tired on weekdays. I make sure to calculate my calories everyday and even use a food scale and always check the calories on food items i buy.
