Doctors’ responses
1. Interruption in urine flow and weak ejaculation usually suggests obstruction or inflammation in the urinary tract or prostate.
2. It can be due to urinary infection, prostatitis, or sometimes urethral stricture that blocks free flow.
3. The hard bloated vein you feel may be congestion from repeated strain and should be examined.
4. Forcing urine or semen out can worsen the problem and lead to complications.
5. You should undergo urine test, ultrasound and if needed prostate evaluation to find the exact cause.
6. Please consult a urologist at the earliest for proper diagnosis and safe treatment before it progresses.
Based on the symptoms you’re describing—interrupted urine flow, reduced force during ejaculation, and a vein on the penis feeling hard and bloated—these could potentially be indicative of a few different urological issues. One possibility could be a partial obstruction in the urethra, which can lead to difficulty in urination and ejaculation. Conditions like urethral strictures, or even an enlarged prostate, might cause the symptoms you’re experiencing, especially if the flow of urine is disrupted and needs abdominal straining to be initiated again.
However, the feeling of a hard, bloated vein might suggest something like Mondor’s disease, a rare condition which involves thrombophlebitis of a superficial vein on the penis, though this would typically not affect urination or ejaculation directly. It’s also worth considering if there are any signs of infection or trauma which might have contributed to these symptoms. If there’s pain, swelling, or if these symptoms have developed rapidly, it’s best to seek immediate medical attention as it may require urgent evaluation.
For the time being, avoid applying any additional force during urination or ejaculation, as it might worsen the issue. Also, try to avoid irritation or trauma to the area. Schedule a visit with a healthcare provider, preferably a urologist, for a proper examination. They might conduct a physical exam, run urine flow studies, or suggest imaging like an ultrasound to understand better what’s going on. Early diagnosis can prevent complications, so don’t put off seeking medical care.
