beetroot juice weight gain - #28066
I am really confused about something with beetroot juice weight gain. A few weeks ago, I started drinking beetroot juice every morning, thinking it would be a great way to get more nutrients while helping my workouts. But now I feel like I'm gaining weight, which is really weird cuz I thought beetroot juice would be healthier. I’ve also noticed my energy levels fluctuating, which is super annoying, like one minute I’m ready to crush my workout, and the next I just want to fall asleep. I checked with my diet, it’s pretty balanced and I still counting calories, but these last couple of weeks I've put on like 3 pounds??? My friends said beetroot juice is great for losing weight but now I’m wondering if the beetroot juice might actually be adding to the weight gain??!? I mean, could it be that it’s too high in sugar? Or am I doing something wrong? I feel frustrated bc I expected to feel lighter or healthier—not gain weight! Anyone else had similar experiences with beetroot juice weight gain? What should I do? Like should I ditch the juice or try something else? Any advice would be super helpful!
