benefits of drinking lime water before bed - #27703

Yash

I am feeling a bit confused about the whole benefits of drinking lime water before bed thing. Like, I've heard a lot of people say that lime water is great for digestion and can help detox your body, but is that really true? I’ve been trying to improve my health lately—gotta kick those late-night snacks, ya know?😅 A week ago, I started sipping on lime water every night before I crash, thinking it might help with my late snack cravings and maybe even give me better sleep? Some friend told me the benefits of drinking lime water before bed includes flushing out toxins, which sounds super appealing, but honestly, I'm not noticing much of a change. Sometimes I even wake up in the night needing to pee, possible too much lime water, or?😬 I also read that lime has vitamin C and antioxidants, but can you really absorb those when drinking it before bed? What about acidity? I’m a bit paranoid about it messing up my stomach or causing heartburn while I sleep. Like, what are the long-term benefits of drinking lime water before bed, or does it just make my stomach feel funny? Should I keep at this or ditch the lime? Really just want to figure out if I’m doing something good or just wasting my time! Thanks!
