how to find pure honey - #24368
I am really worried about this honey I bought from a local store. It looked good and had a nice label saying "100% pure honey," but after reading some articles online, now I’m not so sure. I’ve been looking for tips on how to find pure honey because, honestly, I wanna make sure I’m getting something that's the real deal. I tried some other honey brands, and they tasted kinda off, like not what I remember from my childhood. Remember when I used to eat honey straight from the comb at my grandma’s? That sweetness was could only be described as pure honey. Well, I just got a jar from a farmer’s market that claims it’s pure honey, but the texture is a bit too smooth and it seems like it doesn't crystallize like the honey I remember. I’m starting to doubt if I’m even able to recognize what pure honey actually tastes like anymore. Can anyone tell me how to find pure honey? What should I be looking for on the labels, or are there any tests I can do at home? Hope that makes sense because I'm just trying to get back to that authentic honey experience, you know?
